David & Dorothy Sewell
David was born in Herronton, AB in 1927 where he grew on the family farm with parents Gordon and Eliza Sewell, identical twin brother Dennis and sisters Doris and Audrey.
Dorothy (Davies) was born in Clarseholm, AB in 1932 and moved to Herronton shortly after where she grew up on an a farm with her parents Mabel and Victor Davies and four brothers, Jim, Elroy, Willard and Doug.
Dave and Dorothy were married in 1951 and continued to live in Herronton raising their two children James and Marilyn. They ran a mixed farming operation and lived close to both the Sewell and Davie's families, with Dave's brother Den running his farming operation off the origional home quarter and Dave setting up his farming operation half a mile away. Dorothy's brothers also farmed nearby as well.
Their son James began farming with Dave and continues to grow the operation today and their daughter Marilyn taught at Blackie School for many years, and currently lives on a farm with her husband Doug near Blackie.
